01 The problem
Converting a file usually means opening an app or uploading private files to a random website. I wanted conversion to be a gesture, fully offline.
02 What it does
- Three wheels while dragging: Convert, Tools and Actions, each filtered by file type.
- Images, audio, video, PDF, documents, slides, spreadsheets, subtitles and archives.
- Custom presets, editable wheels, watched folders and a keyboard-only mode.
- Results saved next to the original, which is never modified.
03 Architecture
- 01 CorePlatform-independent conversion engine (C#/.NET)
- 02 AppsWindows app and a separate Linux project
- 03 QualityDedicated test project, CI build on every push
- 04 ReleaseGitHub Releases, winget manifest
04 Stack

05 How I worked with AI
Built with Claude Code from the first commit. The core/app split made it easy to give agents narrow tasks (one converter, one wheel feature) that are tested in isolation before any UI work.
06 What is verified
- Public, MIT licensed, 64 stars on GitHub (Oct 2026).
- 15 GitHub releases (up to v1.13.1).
- Test project and CI build workflow in the repository.
07 Honest notes
- Inspired by Tangerine for macOS; an independent project, not affiliated.
