01 The problem
A personal experiment: how far can a hobby voice assistant go in Czech, controlling the PC and answering freely?
02 What it does
- Voice commands for apps, system actions and web lookups, Czech text-to-speech.
- Free conversation through an LLM via OpenRouter, with simple memory.
- Local FastAPI server and a HUD, packaged for Windows with PyInstaller.
03 Architecture
- 01 CorePython: parser, brain, memory, TTS, action handlers
- 02 ServerFastAPI for the HUD and remote relay
04 Stack
PythonFastAPIOpenRouterTTSPyInstaller
05 How I worked with AI
My first larger project built together with AI tools. It taught me where agents help and where they quietly produce code nobody understands.
06 What is verified
- Source exists as a private repository (a Windows voice assistant).
07 Honest notes
- This is the older voice assistant, not the newer agent operating system I am working on. That one is not published and is not described here.
- No tests; a hobby project.
